Our Contemporary collection features 3" and 5" height pieces that have some versatile functionality. Because they only have 2 heights, you are able to lay them with no joint (in thin veneer), very tight joints in full bed or traditionally with a 1/2" joint. Drystacking this stone is not recommended for exterior cladding. Many designers are also choosing to have the stones laid in a straight line alternating the heights per course. This contemporary look is everywhere and gives brick layers a chance to speed up jobs by laying natural stone similar to bricks. The most important characteristic for this product line is our confidence that all the stones in these blends will not change colour over your lifetime or for generations to come. |
Midnight Granite
A rare 99% black granite was our new find for 2018. We have found creative ways to incorporate our midnight granite into many of our new contemporary blends. A coarse grain gabbro is the actual classification for this stone, but it is commonly known in the stone industry as black granite.
